MEMBERSHIP PERKS

Annual membership is $30 and a portion of that cost stays here with BWI-Ocala. Perks of Membership include, but are not limited to:

Unlimited access to the lending library (up to 1 carrier loan per month at no cost, no deposit as well as some members-only borrowing privileges)

Special members-only events
Access to all libraries, including Little Lenders
Supporting your local group. A portion of your membership fee stays right here in Ocala-- helping to expand our Lending Library of carriers, provide brochures, business cards and other costs associated with running a nonprofit group
Supporting our parent organization, BWI, an internationally respected babywearing organization which provides liability insurance for our volunteer babywearing educators (VBEs), and safe babywearing advocacy at local, regional, national, and international levels

LENDING LIBRARY

When you become a member of BWI of Ocala you pay $30 for a 12 month membership - that comes out to only $2.50 a month! During that time you can check out one carrier a month from our Lending Library (available at our monthly meetings). You will be able to browse and borrow from our extensive collection of over 100 carriers. This is a wonderful way to try new carrier types, styles, brands, and blends in the comfort or your own home and as you go about your daily life. When else are you able to try 12 different carriers and wear your baby close every day for a year for only $30??

LITTLE LENDERS PROGRAM

Access to our Little Lenders Library. Members can check out one doll carrier with their regular membership. Choose from doll/toy slings, wraps, buckle carriers, or bei dais. Promote babywearing for the next generation!

Many local and online businesses share discounts and incentives with our chapter.

FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE

Family memberships allow multiple caregivers in a household to share a membership. Access to two carrier check-ous per month, the little lenders library and all other benefits.

SCHOLARSHIP MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE

Our leadership team works diligently to offer free or reduced memberships to those that would otherwise not be able to afford the $30 annual fee. If you would like to join BWI of Ocala but the cost has prevented you from doing so, please apply HERE .
